Rachel Miller spoke with professor Bill Purse from Duquesne University about this Saturday's (July 21) Guitar Day with Joe Negri: A Guitar and Bass Workshop. Pittsburgh guitarist Joe Negri will be presenting his master class from 1-2pm in the Pappert Center for Performance and Innovation at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University. Mayor Bill Peduto will be in attendance at the event to present Mr. Negri with a proclamation and a key-to-the-city in honor of his 45 years of service as a faculty member at the music school.
